When I was in college, I had heard a lot about Brainobrain Abacus. I always used to think that if I had had a chance to master the art of Brainobrain Abacus, I could have cracked the competitive exams better. I know Brainobrain Abacus improves one’s concentration and accuracy apart from the skill it gives in solving arithmetic problems. Like every parent, I wanted my son to learn the skills which I could not do myself.
Brainobrain started in Abushagara at the right time. I enrolled my son after he was promoted to Grade 1 in 2017. I will not say that the journey was easy. Along with the school works, it was very tough for me to manage the Abacus lessons being a working mother. It is true that the child needs to hardly spend 15 minutes in the beginning levels to master it and once the level advances, it can take 30 minutes a day. My son being very naughty and playful, he lacked interest. I should say that it was my interest and of course the faculty’s motivation that helped us go!
As each level passed by, I could see improvement in his concentration, memory and arithmetic skills. Now my son is in Level 6. I will not say that he is an expert in Abacus, but his concentration skills, speed, accuracy, memory and interest in Abacus has increased commendably. He understands his mathematics lessons at school better and is able to answer the Advanced challenging questions set in his academic lessons.
To be frank, it is easy to make him understand the mathematical concepts, and he has a good foundation for all of his lessons. I would like to thank all the teachers of Brainobrain Abushagara for the commitment (more than parents) and for their enthusiasm which has helped us reach so far.
My son participated in International Level Abacus Competition in 2017. He could not achieve anything. Last year he re-appeared for the same and brought home a silver medal and also hold a Guinness World Record for the participation in the World’s largest mental arithmetic session held. These all are precious moments of happiness for us.
